12 Mile Creek

I love revisiting photo location. Today I revisit 12 Mile Creek just outside of Queenstown New Zealand and try to create a better photograph then the first time I visited This trail is absolutely beautiful and well worth the time to visit. A few things have changed since my last visit. First off the time of year. My first visit was in December and this time I’m here in late January. The trail remains much the same with one big difference, the bridge over a tributary of 12 mile creek has been washed out. My photo location has a few changes, firstly the water level is much lower. Second the vegetation is not as lush and lastly there a large tree trunk has made its way down stream and found a resting place leaning up right next to the waterfall.
