James Halfacre is a professional commercial and fine art photographer. His ongoing journey as a photographer is unique and well- rounded. While James doesn’t possess a degree in photography, his artistic foundation began through self study, and trial and error. James not only works with still cameras, but he has also worked as a videographer, creating content for major automotive companies, industrial robotics companies and small local businesses. James has also collaborated to create video snapshots that have been exhibited in Museums like MOLA. Additionally, he has produced documentaries about the sport of canyoneering in locations, such as Hawaii. Most recently, he has focused the video camera on himself to document his connection to nature and his pursuit of fine art photography. James believes his extensive repertoire has provided him the ability to create beautiful art. Borrowing from Rene Descartes’ famous maxim, “I think therefore I am,” James likes to say “I am, therefore I create.”
